Changing the Name
I've had a few people ask me, "It's all well and fine that you've organized a 24hr Comics Day site here and you're webpublishing the results, but what real incentive does anyone have to want to come back and check out the 24hcdkingston blog for news?" Why indeed!
Not one to twiddle our collective thumbs for 365 days until this blogsite's namesake comes back around assumedly next October, some of our 24hr Events organizers and I are going to switch things up at this blog, altering our focus from preparing Kingston locals for a few Comics-related events to local and independently produced Sequential Art! Whether it be Book Reviews, Indy Cartoon Rendezvous or even coverage of Openings at Local Galleries (Sequential Art!), we'll be providing articles on items to ensure viewer readership- and publicity for homegrown illustrating community.
But first We're going to need a name.
Any name.
If you've a title that you think best conveys our new direction and our Locale (Kingston!), pls leave it in a comment here! We'll judge all meriting entries and announce our new name next year, with all that entails. Thanks!

Come pick 'em up!
Hey, 24hr Comics Day Kingston participants!
I've finished scanning in your comics, so if you're still missing them, drop on by at 198 Princess St. to pick them up!

Emily Brewes' 24hr Comic
This is the last 24hr Comic I have to webpublish, but it's by no means the least. Brewes' slightly minimalist tale of tragedy will make you smile- and avoid every streamer-festooned vehicle in your near-future. Click on the image above to see the comic, or click on Emily's name in the sidebar at right.Visit this blogsite again for future Kingston comics related news and photographs from our 24hr Comics Day at the Artel.
